In-Sanity

The skies burned red,
The ground crumbled,
There was no day and night,
Just havoc and disorder
With some distant voices
Screaming with fright.

The world that was once so bright,
So full of life and joy
Has gone to depth of hell,
Failing to crawl back up
Into its normal lifestream,
It plunged into a well.

The world leaders are dead,
The order is extinct,
Intelligence has decreased.
Cities are in ruins
Waters are muddied
And humanity’s deceased.

Who could’ve known
That one malicious person
Would do this all?
The ability to steal minds
And bend them to her will,
She had full control.

They called her Puppet Queen.
She was cunning and wicked,
Lustful and sadistic.
With disastrous armies
Of repugnant puppets
Who in turn were masochistic.

They thrived through cities,
Walked around to no end
Just waiting to be used.
In packs and numbers,
Constantly looking for lives
Who waited to be abused.

The Queen was their only brain,
They had no free will
No choice in this or that.
Some were used for sex,
Others for fights and war,
And all were a bunch of scat.
The Queen however had a keep,
A massive tower that she built
In the centre of her land.
Giant, stoney and pathetic,
It stood so high with pride
Emerging from the dirty sand.

However there were still survivors
Hidden away in the darkness,
And hoping for salvation.
Many have been killed and taken,
But one force was yet unconquered,
Avoiding the condemnation.

Sanity was the name of that force;
They were patient and clever,
As well as devoted.
However they have lost their leader
Who got taken by the Queen,
Among her ranks to be promoted.

All of Sanity were gifted,
And even with their leader gone
They did not lose hope one bit.
However time was running out,
And Puppet Queen could find them
In order to land a hit.

And so it was one dark day
Full of gloom and death
And polluted air.
But not beneath the ground,
Where lair of Sanity’s located,
Away from all despair.

Muse and Slevin were unhappy.
‘We can’t keep losing people’
Said Muse with anger in his voice.
‘Don’t worry about him,’
Slevin said about their leader
‘He made his choice’.

‘He is now another puppet.’ he continued.
‘We need to take some action.’
Muse suggested after thinking.
‘We should find more survivors’
Slevin agreed to his opinion
‘To stop more people sinking’.

‘He knows where we are’
Muse said with sigh,
Realising there’s little time.
‘I know’ said Slevin
‘That’s why we must attack now
And punish the crime.’

Muse Kitchord was musical guy
And that’s how he got his name,
He could raise spirit of his friends.
He was also very clever,
Being a strategist among the army
Knowing all of their trends.

Slevin Lycs was second in command,
He could both lead and follow
Even under pressure.
When the leader went away
Slevin kept the group going
With tonnes of pleasure.

And so they warned the others
Who were well prepared
And determined to fight.
‘It’s time we show ourselves’
Said Colossus Knight
Grabbing his sword with delight.

‘Good spirit’ Slevin said,
Being proud of Colossus
And patting him on the back.
‘I love justice and it loves me’
Colossus said happily
And prepared to pack.

Colossus was small in height,
Though carrying such a name
Reflected his strong-willed mind,
And passion for justice,
Which inevitably he always achieved,
Leaving nothing behind.

When message got to Kenston Flash,
He was happy they’d set off
For it was time to take action.
His eyes sparkled and he said:
‘It will be a big blow to her ranks,
I just want to see her reaction.’

Kenston Flash was bold fella,
And stopped at nothing at all
To get to his goal.
But his best gift by far
Was his photographic memory
That powered his soul.

Sanity also had great women,
And when hearing the news,
All were ready to roll.
They got gear ready
Collected the troops
And waited for a call.

Melare was fairy of awe;
She could heal her friends
And give them power.
Staying so calm and out of sight,
She was of great help
And also Slevin’s lover.

Wooty Freet was quiet and still
Yet thoughtful and clever
Who won’t give in.
She got angry with fallen leader
And wanted to pay him back
For his forsaken sin.

Canemi Shuns was weirdest of all
And highly eccentric
Who could make others laugh.
She was Colossus’ girl,
Was very friendly,
And super tough.

Last but not least is Neisis Menath,
Who was funny but serious,
Callow but bright.
She used to have a mate once
Whom she lost to puppets
Out of her sight.

So, Sanity began their planning;
The planning of advance
On that greedy Puppet Queen.
But just as they begun,
They heard noises of smacking,
But nothing could be seen.

Soon the alarm bell rang,
The armies streamed out,
And they knew it was an attack.
The puppets have found them,
Thanks to the fallen leader,
Who brought them on track.

Slevin raised his spear
And Sanity’s armies charged.
They clashed into puppet packs,
And there was blood and bile,
Heads and eyeballs,
And plenty of unpleasant cracks.

‘Bestow the same hell on them as they did on us!’
Muse said with passion.
The puppets were not as trained,
And so many of them were killed.
While armies of Sanity
Were just about getting their spirit unchained.

Until Horny Bulldog emerged.
He was like a tiny Minotaur
And was one of puppet generals.
He had small horns, bad teeth,
And down below in the open
Were hanging loosely his genitals.

He killed two Sanity men
Until being challenged by Canemi.
She pointed her sword at him
And proceeded to attack,
For she could clearly see
His sickening little whim.

However at this moment
She was taken by surprise,
For someone was on the side,
And pounced on her
Like a frantically mad beast
From the darkest night.

It was Isone Horn,
Who was brother of Horny Bulldog,
But had only one horn instead of two.
He was just as horny,
But very mad and grouchy,
And extremely blue.

Canemi got up and prepared.
Isone Horn was too reckless
And she could read his tricks.
With one careless motion
He got himself slashed by her sword,
Which only gave him kicks.

But the next blow struck him hard,
So hard he began to bleed,
Feeling that deathly grip.
Suddenly getting so dizzy
He collapsed onto the ground
Touching the dust with his lip.

While Canemi slayed Isone,
Cutting his face in half,
Colossus went for Bulldog,
To stop them double teaming
And hurting his girl
In the middle of the war fog.

Their battle was fierce,
And Colossus could block
Bulldog’s every attack.
He waited patiently for the time,
That precious second
When he could lay a smack.

But soon Bulldog’s attention
Got caught on Melare,
Who was creeping nearby.
Greedily feeling horny,
He quickly charged at her.
That was a wrong try.

She stunned him with her staff,
Making him fall hard
And bash his head.
Here Colossus jumped in
And cut Bulldog’s hand,
Turning the ground red.

Soon the outcome was clear
As Bulldog’s blood filled the rocks
And his head rolled away.
Colossus’ sword was stained,
Melare was smiling,
And monster’s body turned grey.

Meanwhile in the puppet tower
The Queen was lounging around,
Abusing her sex slave puppet.
When one of her other puppets rushed in
Took a deep breath
And began speaking like a muppet.

‘The horny brothers were killed!
They horny brothers have been defeated!’
The Puppet Queen got mad.
She then threw her sex slave away,
‘Then send someone else!’
She said while showing her fad.

Sanity by now has made a plan.
They decided to find some survivors
In towns nearby.
But to do that they had to split up,
To cover a lot of ground,
Hoping that some survivors didn’t die.

So Muse, Slevin, Wooty and Melare went one way,
While Kenston, Colossus, Canemi and Neisis the other
Agreeing to meet at the Nightfall cliff.
Planning to spend no more than 2 hours
And dragging their armies around,
They hoped to make it brief.

Kenston and co got to their city first.
The roads were distorted there,
Vehicles dug in and buildings were crying;
Plants were greedy,
Road signs erased, lampposts knelt,
And existing life was dying.

Yet somewhere at a distance
They heard a piercing sound
That echoed around.
They headed towards it,
Smelling the air,
Where dirt was abound.

Upon reaching the place
They saw one man at a distance,
Who operated a device of some sort.
They came closer,
Realising the crossbow he made
That replaced him a fort.

‘Get out of here’ he said,
‘You’ll attract more puppets.’
While cocking his gun.
He then aimed to their left and shot,
Impaling a puppet nearby in the chest,
And found it very fun.

However at that moment
Something landed on that guy
Grabbing him in a headlock.
It was the lustful Succubus,
Puppet Queen’s best friend,
Right out of the stock.

Kenston and Colossus rushed in
In order to help the guy,
But it was too late.
Succubus bit into his neck
And sucked his lifeforce dry,
Turning it into full hate.

She had leathery bat wings,
Boring grey skin,
And hair as hard as a brush.
Her eyeballs were sickly,
Face of your nightmare
And nothing that her teeth couldn’t crush.

She laughed frantically at them
And flew away like a drunk,
Revealing a pack of puppets behind,
That our heroes haven’t noticed at all,
But now they had to prepare
And to greatly free their mind.

The puppets ran at them,
Getting ready to slash and bash,
But Sanity generals were skilled,
Giving no breath to their foes,
They chopped them apart,
And themselves were very thrilled.

The others reached their city a bit later
To see it was in similar condition
With nobody around.
The cool wind blew at them,
The ground cracked
And there was no other sound.

They walked through streets
Seeking for some lives,
But there were none at all.
Whole army felt tired,
Losing the faith,
And could barely crawl.

However someone came up
From around the nearest corner,
Behind the wrecked cars.
One looked completely drunk,
Another was transsexual,
Looking up, trying to see some stars.

‘Hey!’ Slevin called to them,
But they did not respond,
Continuing what they did.
Slevin and the group then
Walked in their direction,
At this important time of need.

The transsexual one responded
‘Who are you, people?’
‘Are you here all alone?’
Muse asked the duo,
Hoping to get some answers
And find some people in the zone.

However here came attack,
And not from the front,
But from the back.
It was a big group of puppets,
Who followed the team,
Along the empty track.

The battle was fierce once again,
Muse cut heads open with his axe,
Slevin helped him on the side.
Melare and Wooty covered the back,
Knocking every puppet out,
Who had too much pride.

The packs were led by two misfits:
One was a tough golem with big head
But a very tiny brain;
Another was a cunning man,
Hiding his face behind 3 masks,
And acting superbly insane.

The golem tried to crush Slevin
With both his fists and massive head,
But was a real crap-shot.
Melare helped him out
By hitting golem from behind
With her blessed rod.

Wooty recognized the maskman,
For it was their fallen leader,
Who was taken by the witch.
‘Guys! I’ve found our leader’ she said.
‘My name is Faceoff!’
Said the fallen leader in high pitch.

He wielded a powerful harpoon gun,
Trying to shoot Wooty down
But missing all the time,
To suddenly hit the drunk survivor
In the forefront of the head,
That sprayed the place with slime.

His friend saw this and got angry,
Charging at the Faceoff with all might
And spitting with disgust.
But golem’s fist then did the deed,
Sending transsexual survivor into glass,
Making his death come very fast.

Muse and rest of army killed most puppets,
Disengaged their heads from shoulders,
And truncated their limbs to pieces.
The rest of team quickly stood by him,
All facing forwards at two generals,
Who only produced few hisses.

After hissing they decided to retreat,
For their army was defeated,
And their strategy was phail.
‘They’ll be back again’ said Slevin,
And the team followed the runaways,
Right on their tail.

Kenston, Canemi, Colossus and Neisis
Were still in their town with their army,
Looking for survivors around the place.
However time had come to realise
That everyone else was dead
And the town was now a total waste of space.

So they set off back on track
To regroup with their friends
And to find Queen’s tower.
It will be a difficult task,
It might cause some deaths,
And will require tonnes of power.

But another pack of ugly puppets
Crossed their path
And wanted a fight.
Kenston used a super crossbow
From the dead guy back in town,
And prepared to clear the plight.

One shot could tame a puppet,
Mortifying him nastily,
And bringing him to the ground.
Neisis then would land a hit at them
With her solid mace
Till no brain could be found.

Colossus and Canemi slain the others
With two blurring blades,
Completing things on the double;
And spreading even more blood,
Painting the road in red
And causing dead bodies to fumble.

On this note the puppets were defeated,
Their heads piled up together
And their blood flowed like a river;
The sight was way too gory
And can make a normal human puke,
Freak out, faint and shiver.

In a meantime the other group
Caught up with rocky golem,
But the Faceoff was gone already,
Leaving his friend behind.
He was a traitor even to his kind,
Making the slow golem heady.

Slevin’s spear got golem in the leg,
Unexpectedly tripping him up
And sending his face on the rocks.
Muse and Wooty started to hit him,
With Melare lending a hand,
Showering him with numerous knocks.

The golem got up and ran,
But someone crossed his path,
And that was the rest of Sanity.
He charged into them with might;
However failing to proceed any further,
He cursed with deep profanity.

Now surrounded by all eight
With nowhere to run,
He was truly stranded.
Failing to rely on his small brain,
He went crazy with his fists
None of which have landed.

Neisis recognized the golem,
For it was her former partner.
Hardy Oz was the name.
She could not forgive his betrayal,
And after Muse stabbed him,
Neisis smashed his big head in shame.

They took the remainder of their army
And continued to where Faceoff went,
Hoping to see Queen’s tower soon.
Making a couple of breaks on the way,
They modified their plans,
While singing a lovely tune.

In another city they fought more puppets,
Starting to get very bored
And hoping for a bigger fish.
‘I sense there’s little left’
Said Neisis optimistically
While feeling hyperish.

‘We should see the tower
Once we’re getting close to it.’
Kenston made a point.
Everyone agreed to that
And then Slevin said:
‘But so far we’re in this joint’.

‘Ask for directions’
Colossus said with a laugh.
‘I think you’re right’
Canemi pointed behind him,
That made everyone look and see
An elven girl in the middle of the blight.

‘The Queen’s tower is to the East of here’
Elven girl said out loud,
Still sparkling with light.
‘Thank you’ said Slevin,
‘What’s your name?’
But here she went out of sight.

Ignoring what just happened
Sanity immediately headed East
Past the broken city.
Melare then sighed and said:
‘She should’ve joined our army,
What a pity.’

And finally they saw the tower
Surrounded by another city
Just behind a few more hills.
It stood so lonely yet so high,
Looking at the sky and seeing nothing
But a freedom from all the kills.

‘And there it is’ said Muse,
With everyone getting happier
And gaining hope and joy.
‘They’ll be waiting for us’
Colossus murmured
‘Time to deploy’.

The armies got ready for anything,
Moving from one city to the next
And approaching the tower.
‘I don’t like this’ said Slevin.
‘Just relax, we won’t lose’
Melare said to her lover.

Elven girl’s voice was suddenly heard:
‘To ascend the tower you must defeat the pride,
For if you can’t, you’re still a rookie.’
Everyone looked around,
Wondering where that came from,
And Muse said ‘Spooky’.

Soon they reached the front of tower,
With numerous puppets standing
And waiting for some action.
Sanity came close enough,
And Slevin after a deep breath said:
‘Well then, let’s give them satisfaction!’

Silence dominated the place,
Hundreds of faces stared at one another,
Waiting for bitter death to come;
Until someone’s creepy laughter
Echoed loudly around
From beyond all the cold scum.

That was giddy Succubus again,
With all the noise and madness
Flying out of the crowd,
Circling above her puppet friends
As if like a dancing bee
And hysterically laughing out loud.

At this moment two more generals emerged:
That runaway – Faceoff,
Who was very keen to fight;
And Queen’s drone puppet,
Who fertilised her the most,
Impregnating her with shite.

He screamed for puppets to attack
And a horde of those freaks ran,
Ready to die without a cause.
‘It is time’ said Slevin,
Giving command to attack
As his spear rose.

The armies have clashed once again,
But this time with more blood
Spilling left and right.
Sanity soldiers still did well,
Almost as good as their generals,
Fighting with all the might.

The Queen’s drone was skilled,
He could evade attacks
And slay many Sanity men.
Kenston saw this and prepared;
He knew to take some action
And gained the strength of ten.

He approached the drone
And their swords have clashed
In a blindingly bright spark.
The drone attacked like mad
And Kenston barely kept up,
It was not a walk in park.

Kenston then proceeded to attack,
But drone could block the blows
As if they were slowed for him;
But one mighty stab passed through,
Right deep into his heart;
Blood staining the sword’s rim.

But that blood was a drop in a sea,
For the massacre of this battle
Released too much of the red stuff.
Everyone was blood drunk,
Attacking even their own,
Not knowing when’s enough.

Faceoff was laughing out loud
As he shot anyone and everyone
With his deadly harpoon gun.
Slevin has had enough and went for him,
Dodging behind the trash
And waiting to run.

He reached Faceoff without a scratch,
And attacked with glory of his spear,
Just to have it eluded.
Faceoff escaped and ran to the back,
Away from the forefront of the war,
His trickery was truly undisputed.

Before Slevin knew what hit him,
Succubus pounced on his back
And prepared to bite.
However Neisis came from behind
Swinging with her mace and
Delivering a nasty smite.

Succubus got stunned and fell,
Just to be hit again and again,
But managing to flee the battle.
Bleeding only from the back,
She flew back into the tower,
Giving out a tiny rattle.

Colossus was still fighting
By the side of Canemi
And both were a mighty pair.
Muse also slain too many,
And Melare was always there
Saving her friends from despair.

The Faceoff kept on shooting,
But here came Slevin once again,
Knocking the gun off his hands.
But Faceoff pulled out an axe,
Smashed Slevin’s spear,
And fled to more peaceful lands.

But here came a surprise,
And he met eye to eye
With Wooty Freet.
Standing silent and angry
They stared at one another
In the middle of the street.

‘Get out of my way’
Faceoff said menacingly
And proceeded forward with pride.
‘Make me’ Wooty said,
With all the anger clutching her daggers
And prepared for a rough ride.

The Faceoff here charged at her,
Tackling her and punching her,
With the rage he had;
But Wooty sliced him a few times
Across the chest and arms
Producing wounds that felt so sad.

She then kicked him a few times
And stabbed one dagger in his stomach,
Penetrating way too deep,
And spilling more blood
Than there already was,
Hoping to cause him an eternal sleep.

But instead he got more enraged
And madly ran at her,
Past many cadavers that lay on his way.
Tackling her with force
Into nearby deep cleft in the road,
That stretched out like a black ray.

Muse and Melare rushed towards it
To see what has happened,
Feeling all shocked and scared.
However there Wooty hung
From the edge of the cleft,
Where both of them stared.

They helped her up and Muse asked:
‘And what about Faceoff?’
‘He’s gone… for good.’
Wooty said proudly.
They felt glad and Melare said:
‘I guess now he’s worm food.’

Now that the generals were gone,
Sanity ones entered the tower,
Leaving their army to deal with puppet scum.
There weren’t many left
And the battle was dying out,
No more sounds of the battle drum.

On the inside the tower was dark,
It had a very bad vibe and smelled funny,
As well as strange sounds
Of people being tortured to death,
And dark orange flames on the walls
As if they were angry hell hounds.

All 8 generals began to ascend
The half broken rocky stairs
Which were full of cracks and crap.
The walls looked intimidating,
It seemed like something would pop out
And produce a loud snap.

They reached the first floor
And there saw a little sex slave
Descending from the floor above.
He was wearing a gimp suit,
Was crawling on all 4s,
And seemed to starve.

When spotting the intruders
He pounced on Neisis like a dog
And tried to strangle her to death;
But she kicked him off so hard,
That before he could get up,
Muse’s sword stopped his next breath.

‘Disgusting behaviour’
Muse said while pulling his sword
Out of gimp’s throat.
Ignoring this little mishap,
They took the little gimp
And threw him into the moat.

The next floor was big
And filled with puppet guards
Who were just as dumb.
But being so close to their Queen
And away from humanity,
Their minds have gone completely numb.

They fought back,
But their dumbstruck brains
Brought them only defeat.
Soon their bodies piled up,
Altogether in a corner,
Like a stinking rotten meat.

‘More food for the worms’
Canemi commented with smile
And went back to her mates.
‘Worms must be full by now,’
Kenston replied,
‘Especially after the slaughter at front gates.’

Then the stairs streamed in a loop,
Winding and twisting forever,
Never coming to an end.
The whole place was dull,
The walls were monochromatic
And stairs only seemed to blend.

But soon, very soon
They reached the top of the tower,
With a deep sigh.
They felt lighter and more determined
To bring an end to this all,
Before any of them could die.

‘This is it, my fellas’
Slevin said with slight fear
While walking towards the big door.
Everyone did the same,
While breathing deeply,
Hoping that after this there’s no more.

The big doors came open
And in front of them was the sight,
The one they’ll never forget.
This sight will sure leave a mark,
It will scar them for life,
And now seeing this brought only regret.

The big, fat and greasy Puppet Queen
Lounging around with laziness,
Yapping and guffing,
Whilst sexually abusing her slaves,
Who didn’t seem to hate or enjoy it,
And only puffing.

With them were guard puppets
And the unforgettable Succubus,
Who still couldn’t stop her laugh.
The Sanity generals prepared,
And proceeded for the fight,
That they new would be quite tough.

These puppets were no better than the rest,
Being just as useless as others,
They only fell down like flies.
One by one they’d fall,
Lacking any skill or wit,
And only their two eyes.

Succubus then flew at Colossus,
Trying to seduce him
And to bite him hard.
But no seduction could fool him
From cutting off one of her wings,
That shed a lot of blood.

She got injured for good
And could no longer run away,
So had to face her end here.
She got struck by the staff of Melare
And fell down dead,
Before even sensing any fear.

The Puppet Queen was now alone,
Went from an army to just herself
And her unlimited pride.
However it wasn’t a danger for strong-willed,
And each and everyone of them
Could throw it aside.

They all cuffed her in chains
From the very room she lived in
And abused her slaves,
And at the same time,
With all the might they had,
They pulled in different ways.

The pain she went through was strong,
And her mind was enfeebled
Due to the loss of so many.
She now had no salvation,
No friends to defend her,
As if she ever had any.

Slevin then picked up a spear,
Aimed the sharp bit,
Readied his stance,
And jumped at Queen’s face,
Extending his arm,
As if performing a dance.

The spike went through her mug
And mutilated her insides,
Releasing cursed black blood.
Her mind control was gone,
Her slaves were now set free,
And her putrid body dropped like lard.

After that golden moment,
The world had a fresh start
And a new chance at life.
Those 8 heroes would never be forgotten,
Who fought for justice
In the middle of a deadly strife.
